Jeffrey Groves is from Nashville, TN and attended Fisk University, A Historically Black University. He is a husband, father, author, mentor, coach, facilitator, and educator. Jeff is the founder of The R.E.E.K (Reach, Educate, Evolve, Knowledge) Program, a mentoring program for youth and their families. The program has serviced over 700 families by providing them with free Minnesota Vikings, Timberwolves, Lynx, and Twins admission tickets, holiday dinners, backpacks, school supplies, teaching anger management, and conflict resolution for the youth. Jeffrey is a mediator within the Minneapolis public school system to help diffuse conflicts to promote learning within the education system Two time Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) grant recipient.

Shatona Kilgore-Groves is from Minneapolis, MN. She grew up in North Minneapolis and attended Henry High School. Upon graduation she decided to further her education and cultural experiences by attending a Historically Black University. She then traveled to Nashville, TN to attend Fisk University and majored in Psychology. Later, Shatona married, had children and she continued her graduate studies at the University of Phoenix and obtained a Masters in Psychology. Shatona is a college instructor,community leader, entrepreneur, facilitator, mental health and parent advocate, and author. She has a passion for providing resources for parents of all races and serving her community.
